Booking Policies, Terms of Service & Guest Agreement
Welcome to The Island Club Adventures.
By requesting information, making a reservation, paying a deposit, purchasing a service, or participating in any excursion, tour, transportation service, charter, rental, activity, or experience arranged through The Island Club Adventures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Booking Policies, Terms of Service, and Guest Agreement.
Our Role
The Island Club Adventures is an independent sales, marketing, promotions, reservations, booking, and vacation concierge company based in Nassau, The Bahamas.
We are not the owner, operator, captain, guide, transportation provider, rental company, or organizer of the vast majority of experiences advertised on our website.
Our role is to connect guests with carefully selected independent third-party tour operators, transportation providers, activity providers, charter companies, accommodations, and local service providers.
Each operator is solely responsible for the operation, management, staffing, equipment, vessels, vehicles, safety procedures, licenses, insurance, and delivery of their respective services.
Independent Third-Party Operators
All excursions, activities, tours, rentals, transportation services, fishing charters, boat charters, accommodations, and vacation experiences are owned and operated by independent businesses.
Although we strive to work with reputable and trusted local partners, each provider operates independently from The Island Club Adventures.
By completing a reservation, you understand that your service agreement for the actual experience is between you and the independent operator providing that experience.
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Island Club Adventures, its owners, directors, employees, representatives, contractors, affiliates, and agents shall not be liable for any injury, illness, death, accident, property damage, theft, delay, inconvenience, cancellation, missed connection, loss of enjoyment, financial loss, or any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or related to:

Any excursion or activity

Boat or yacht charters

Watersports
-
Transportation services
-
Vehicle rentals
-
Vacation accommodations

Third-party negligence
-
Mechanical failures
-
Weather or sea conditions

Government restrictions

Medical emergencies

Acts of God

Force majeure events

Any circumstances beyond our reasonable control
Guests participate in all activities voluntarily and entirely at their own risk.
Reservations & Payments
Reservations are confirmed only after the required deposit or payment has been received and confirmed.
Prices, availability, schedules, itineraries, vessels, vehicles, operators, and equipment remain subject to availability and may change without prior notice until a reservation has been confirmed.
Remaining balances must be paid according to the operator's requirements or as instructed during the booking process.
Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
Because reservations involve scheduling independent operators, equipment, staffing, transportation, and other resources, deposits are generally non-refundable.
Refunds or credits may be considered only when:

The operator cancels the experience.

Unsafe weather or sea conditions prevent safe operation and no reasonable alternative can be provided.

A refund is approved by the operator or The Island Club Adventures at its sole discretion.
Refunds are generally not available for:

Personal schedule changes

Missed flights

Missed cruise ships

Travel delays
-
Illness
-
Failure to arrive

Late arrivals

Failure to meet participation requirements

Any circumstance outside the reasonable control of The Island Club Adventures or the operator.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may require additional processing time by banks or payment processors.
Weather Policy
The safety of our guests is always the highest priority.
Certain activities depend upon weather, sea conditions, tides, visibility, and other environmental factors.
The final decision to operate, postpone, modify, or cancel any experience rests solely with the independent operator, captain, pilot, guide, or activity provider.
Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:

Arrive on time.

Follow all safety instructions.

Comply with operator rules.

Meet all age, health, weight, certification, or participation requirements.

Behave respectfully toward staff, guides, operators, and other guests.

Provide accurate booking information.
Operators reserve the right to deny participation to anyone whose behavior creates a safety concern or disrupts the experience.
Photography & Promotional Media
Photographs and videos may be captured during certain experiences for promotional purposes.
Guests who prefer not to appear in promotional materials should notify the operator or The Island Club Adventures before the activity begins.
Website Information
We make every reasonable effort to ensure the information presented on our website is accurate.
However, pricing, descriptions, itineraries, schedules, photos, availability, and inclusions may change without notice.
We do not guarantee that every listing will always remain available exactly as displayed.
Limitation of Responsibility
The Island Club Adventures does not guarantee the performance, quality, safety, availability, punctuality, or suitability of any third-party operator.
We do not supervise, direct, or control the day-to-day operations of independent operators.
Any claims relating to the operation of an excursion, tour, charter, rental, transportation service, accommodation, or other experience must be directed to the operator responsible for providing that service.
Acceptance of These Terms
By making a reservation, paying a deposit, purchasing a service, or participating in an experience arranged through The Island Club Adventures, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted these Booking Policies, Terms of Service, and Guest Agreement.
